Corporate Social ResponsibilityCorporate social responsibility is an important unit in Introduction to Business. The class teaches the basics of different areas of business, and corporate social responsibility is a important to address. This lecture will address the responsibilities of a business and their contributions to the environment, its citizens and society as a whole. The images in the slide show will help students understand the processes involved in ensuring corporate responsibility. While the word “corporate” implies a large company that is owned by shareholders, where decisions are made by a board—students will understand that it is also small businesses and sole proprietorships that are also held to the same corporate social responsibility standards.
