Marketing simply means, "getting the word out."
You are selling a product, concept or company. In context, marketing as a career can mean working in internet marketing-- designing and creating websites and working in search engine optimization to ensure that people who need and want your goods and/or services FIND you!
Think about your final project's marketing strategy early.
