Business is the study of applying ideas to create or add value to a product or service in order to generate a profit.
In this class we will learn to research information and then develop ideas based on that information to solve problems. Business also involves people — customers, clients and employees. Therefore, communication and interpersonal skills are also very important to learn. |
General Business education is an important course for any student. In this course the students will become knowledgeable in all aspects of business including Finance, Marketing, Operations and Management.

In context, marketing as a career can mean working in internet marketing-- designing and creating websites and working in search engine optimization to ensure that people who need and want your goods and/or services FIND you! You have most likely heard the word "finance" in the context that it just means "money." A financial advisor is anyone who advises you on how to manage and invest your money.
They usually have accounting and/or finance degrees and are overall knowledgable in the industry you may want to invest in. They work with you to save money for yourself and for your family, including drafting and executing wills and trusts. |
